California Online Public Schools recognizes the unique needs of military connected families and provides resources to support the enrollment and education of our military students.

Every student in our school, from transitional kindergarten through 12th grade,  will be assigned a school counselor who is dedicated to supporting student academic and social/emotional well being. Additionally, students in all grades will be assigned a homeroom teacher who will serve as a wealth of information for families in addition to subject content teachers for students in grades 6-12.

Please note that CalOPS offers easy ways to connect with teachers and staff whenever you have questions or need additional support, and we pride ourselves on the tools we provide to help you stay informed about your child’s progress. For example, our parent dashboard, RISE, has been custom made for our school. With RISE, you can track your children’s grades, assignments, and their live interactions—all in one place! This makes it simple to view their progress, be part of their journey every day, and has been intentionally designed to simplify your CalOPS school experience whether you are in California or deployed domestically or overseas.
